Conservation and valorisation of agricultural biodiversity: an integrated approach to guarantee the food security in Somaliland.

This research was conducted within a project implemented by the Italian NGO CINS (Cooperazione Italiana Nord Sud) and funded by the European Commission, "Seed Security Improvement and Conservation of Indigenous Genetic Materials in the Northwest Agricultural Areas of Somalia (Somaliland)". The research aims at contributing to increase the knowledge of the agricultural biodiversity existing in the region, referred to the issue of food security.
