Abstract:
(99mTc(N)(DBODC)(PNP5))+(DBODC = bis-(N-ethoxyethyl)-dithiocarbammato; PNP5 = bis (dimethoxypropylphosphinoethyl)ethoxyethylamine) is a potential myocardial imaging agent which exhibits original biodistribution properties. Its rapid liver clearance and the relatively hig heart uptake yield high-quality in vivo images. Howewer, the biochemical mechanisms for such a markedly rapid liver clearance of this agent remain unknown. For this rearon, we investigated the in vitro and in vivo stability of this compound to shed light on its metabolic pathway ......
