Il territorio del Sarrabus nella cartografia medioevale e moderna

The Sarrabus, geographic area located in south east Sardinia, has been examined in two different sides: the objective and the perceived geographic reality. Therefore, on the one hand, physical and anthropic elements have been observed in order to highlight the resources and the potential of the territory. On the other hand, the study of historical cartography - an image of the territory mediated by different socio-cultural factors - shows the level of knowledge of the places, but also the level of selection of information delineated by the client.
