A Novel Strategy for the Synthesis of Heme-Peptide Conjugates

We report here a novel strategy for the synthesis of heme-peptide conjugates. This synthetic procedure allows the synthesis of a wide variety of analogs made up of either two equal or different peptide chains linked to the porphyrin ring.
