First three volumes of a Corpus Borgiano that no less than 10, which will be collected in the Proceedings of all conferences organized by the National Committee "meetings of Study for the fifth centenary of Pope Alexander VI" in Rome during the Renaissance was the promoter. Through the contribution, as much as possible articulated, 41 specialists (Italians and foreigners) in different scientific areas, it is proposed a historiographical review of the pontificate of Pope Borgia and personal way of interpreting their age, starting with the precise choice that recognizes Rome, the seat of papal power but also political, social, economic and cultural self, a central role in the Europe of the end of the fifteenth century.
