abstract:
This Chapter describes W3C-WAI Accessibility Auditing as a technique aiming to improve accessibility of web-based information systems. We consider the role of WAI Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in two complementary phases, namely the summative phase where WCAG can be used to identify accessibility problems and the formative stage where WCAG provide a means for proactive design inherently accessible.
