La carta delle conoscenze territoriali

The MapSharing project's approach is strictly related to spatial planning and its conclusion coincides, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, with the approval of the Regional Spatial Plan, while in Slovenia the local authorities reform is in progress. The project was characterized by a partnership among various subject: the provinces of Pordenone and Trieste, the Regional Development Centre Koper and three municipalities of different size and characteristics: Koper, Udine and Muggia, all interested in addressing the issue of sustainable development and in defining a common perspective within the Euroregion framework. The project's results are intended to contribute to a new approach on sustainable development and shared knowledge that can improve the quality of territorial and sectoral plans.
