Environmental characterisation of Sardinia show-caves: first approach for a LCA study

The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method has been used for explore the touristic service offered by show caves in Sardinia. This methodology allows to assess the environmental performance of the service, to improve and promote sustainable processes and green marketing and finally to provide a sound basis for informed decisions on cave management.
