ADA as the system language: the CNET inter-node communication mechanism

The design and implementation of an inter-node communication mechanism for the Cnet distributed system is presented. The paper stresses particularly the use of a High Level Language like Ada as the system as well the application language in a distributed system. The definition of the communication mechanism is given as a linguistic extension (by means of its abstraction mechanisms) of the Ada language.
