abstract:
The paper is aimed at illustrating the first results of a study centred on sites which are entirely Unesco or contain Unesco properties devoted to identify: best practices and relative characteristics capable to supply elements for the definition of guide lines for a quality touristic enhancement; case of non suitable enhancement and relative guide lines to obtain a sustainable touristic enhancement. The guide lines for the sustainable touristic enhancement related to the Unesco sites constitute a work-in-progress to construct with people. Participation is meant in this case both as a tool of knowledge as well as an orientation to choices of people involved with different roles in the use, enhancement or management of those sites.
