An automatic tool for the management of medical cards is discribed. The main caracteristic of the application is a user friendly, form based interface. As basic software support a DBMS, called SYSTEM 2000, has been adopted. An integrated Data Dictionary mantains the specifications of the various fields and allows the automatic verifications of range, uniqueness, and list constraints. This Dictionary may be updated using the same kind of application, allowing the addiction of more constraints. Every possible application is seen as a series of forms the user will visit in a ordered way.
