Abstract:

can supporttheverification oftheinflight calibrationofRosetta/VIRTIS.
In thispaper,measurementstakenbyVIRTISinNovember2009arecomparedwithsuitable
coincident datafromEarth-observinginstruments(ESA-ENVISAT/AATSRandSCIAMACHY,andEOS-

taken byVIRTIS,usingrepresentativeatmosphericandsurfaceparameters.VIRTISmeasurements
correlate90%withAATSR's,85-94% withMODIS,and82-88% withSCIAMACHYs.
