Quasi-linear model validation against JET measurements and gyro-kinetic simulations

A detailed study of the performance of the TGLF SAT1 quasi-linear transport model against JET experimental data and against GENE simulations leads to indications towards an improved version of TGLF SAT1 via a recalibration and the need of accounting for stabilizing mechanisms such as fast ions and non-linear e.m. effects.
