The Electron Temperature Gradient Instability in Presence of a Limiter with Tilted Plates

The analysis of the electron temperature gradient instability in the scrape-off layer is generalized to the case of non-orthogonal intersections of the magnetic field with the wall surface, a situation which is most typical for a tokamak with a limiter.
