Fields of application of silica filler in the reinforcement of synthetic or natural eleastomers for tyre industry. Here we present results of a new alkoxysilane coupling agent, sb1, obtained by grafting 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane onto polyburadiene oligomers.
