Spin transport in quantum dots: effects of non-Fermi liquid correlations

A model for a quantum dot embedded in a 1D electronic system is discussed. The non-linear transport properties are calculated in the region of sequential tunneling. In particular, the features related to the spin degree of freedom are discussed.
