Conference Paper
Publication Date:
1993

Greenhouse and field trials were carried out on grapevines affected by wood decay to assess the effectiveness of fungicides (triazoles and carbendazim) applied to them by simulated syringes. Greenhouse applications showed full curative activity on potted grapes inoculated with Sphaeropsis malorum. Promising results are being obtained on black measles "Esca" affected grapevines in two years field trials; the fungi involved in the disease were investigated.
