Comprehensive geomagnetic research on the Triple Junction near Bouvet Island

Major peculiarities of the bottom topography and anomalous magnetic field near the Bouvet Triple Junction were established. The three-dimensional modeling of the parameters of the inverse magnetoactive layer allows one to reconstruct a comprehensive geochronology of the bottom and to show the unstable character of the junction area of the American, African, and Antarctic plates during the past one million years.
