Genetic diversity assessment of Olea europaea L. Syrian germplasm by SSR and AFLP markers.

A totai oj 42cultivars native ojS~vria was analyzed lA'ith twent}h'wo primers pairs ol mierosatellite markers and two AFL? primer combinations. A fotal oj48pa~ymorphic AFLP bands and 45 po(vmorphie SSR bands was obtained. SSR arnplifìed fi'agments ranged ji'om 90 IO 300 bp, while kF'L? fragments ranged jron? 60 fO 600 bp. The data obtained were elaborafed with the Jaccard genette simìlarity coejjìcienf, applying the SAHN clustering method.
