Propeller Wake Visualization by Laser Anemometry

Results of the wake survey of a four blade marine propeller, performed with PIV and LDV, are presented. Measurements are performed in phase with the propeller angular position. Wake is well described by both the techniques that can be considered complementary in the propeller flow analysis.
