Fabrication and Spectroscopic Assessment of Glass-Based Sub-Wavelength Structures for Hybrid 1-D Dielectric 633- nm Laser Microcavity

abstract:
A low-loss 20-micron thickness 1-D multilayer dielectric microcavity constituted by PMMA polymer matrix containing CdSe@ZnS quantum dots was fabricated by a hybrid radiofrequency-sputtering/sol-gel deposition process. Emission enhancement at 633-nm wavelength has been observed.
