Abstract:
The present paper describes the investigation activities on the ground areas of a territory falling within the SNI Domitian Phlegrean and Agro Aversano Coast. The aim of this study is to provide an assessment of the environmental status of the study area through the implementation of a
plan for monitoring the state of soils with special regard to the presence of heavy metals in land and water areas. Summarizes the environmental characteristics of the study area and of the history of activities undertaken over time that may have caused damage to
environmental matrices. The study focused on 30 acres of territory occupied by two artificial lakes resulting from the reuse of disused quarries, where activities livestock and agricultural production are carried out.
