Thesaurus: un sistema per la conoscenza del patrimonio sommerso

The goal of the project Thesaurus (TecnicHe per l'Esplorazione Sottomarina Archeologica mediante l'Utilizzo di Robot aUtonomi in Sciami) is to develop multidisciplinary technologies and scientific methodologies in the aim of pinpointing, conducting a census and documenting artifacts and underwater wrecks of archaeological or historical interest. After having considered other similar projects and information systems, we implemented a system for managing and retrieving data, where sensory data gathered through advanced technologies to explore sea bottom, as well as data acquired through historical, archaeological and documentary research, are stored.
