Abstract:
A facile synthesis of both enantiomers of trans-cyclohex-4-ene-1,2-dicarboxylic acid on a multigram scale, that starts from inexpensive, commercially available compounds, is described. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
