abstract:
The informatics lab is an environment where interactions among students and between students and teacher are less formal and more stimulating from both a cultural and a cognitive point of view, due to the interaction with the computer. This advantage can be suitably exploited and fostered if lab's work is carefully planned beforehand and rigorously directed by the teacher, especially as concerns task selection, time management and balancing individual and common work.
