Integration of QKD in WDM networks

The theme of the integration of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) in existing WDM optical networks will be discussed. Some evaluations about a reduced-cost implementation of BB84 protocol for QKD will be presented, where a QKD channel in O band is added to classical C-band WDM channels in the same fiber.
