Magnetic characterization of ion implanted CoNi-SiO2 granular film

abstract:
Structural, magnetic and magneto-optical properties of an ion implanted CoNi granular film are described. In-plane coercive field and remanence decrease at increasing temperature and disappear above 130 K. Magneto-optical Kerr effect measurements identify different in-depth magnetic species not revealed by magnetometry experiments.
