abstract:
Multivariate analysis of distribution of the commonest Salmonella serotypes isolated in Lombardy, Tuscany and Sicily in the period 1978-1980. The AA. submitted to multivariate analysis the data regarding fifteen Salmonella serotypes which represent the majority (56 to 85%) of the isolates in Lombardy, Tuscany and Sicily during the period 1978-80. Three clusters of serotypes coud be identified, each corresponding to a givenRegion. While the clusters of Lombardy and Tuscany, along the period of time tend to overlap, the clusters of Sicily remains unmodified, a situation due to standing role of S. wien.
