Studio fitosociologico del territorio di Militello in Val di Catania (CT, Sicilia orientale)

Phytosociological study on Militello in Val di Catania territory (CT, est Sicily). The natural and sub-natural vegetation of the territory belonging to Militello in Val di Catania and neighbouring areas is here described. This area is located in the northern sector of hyblean area, close to the Catania plain. The identified vegetational types belong to the following syntaxonomic units: Quercetea ilicis, Querco-Fagetea, Cisto-Micromerietea, Lygeo-Stipetea, Thero-Brachypodietea, Tuberarietea guttatae, Phragmitetea, Stellarietea mediae.
