Abstract:
We present two ultrabroadband optical parametric amplifiers based on periodically poled stoichiometric lithium tantalate. Both systems produce two-cycle pulses, in the near-infrared (8.5 fs at 1.3 mu m) and mid-infrared (25 fs at 3.5 mu m) respectively. (C) 2008 Optical Society of America
