Servizi WebGis per lo sviluppo sostenibile: la condivisione dell'informazione meteorologica ed ambientale in Toscana.

This paper describe the system used by the Consorzio LAMMA (Laboratory of Monitoring and Environmental Modelling for the sustainable development) of Tuscany Region for sharing, viewing and cataloging (metadata and related information) of all geospatial data that are daily processed and used in many meteorological and environmental applications. The WebGis system was developed using Open Source technology. The geospatial data was published through geospatial web service based on OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium) as WMS, WFS, WCS, CWS. Mapserver and Geoserver were used to sharing and viewing geospatial data through OGC geospatial Web services. The metadata catalog is customized with a J2EE application based on the GeoNetwork-Opensource.
