abstract:
The terrestrial isopod Afrophiloscia aelleni n. sp. from Kenya and Tanzania is described. Another species, Chaetophiloscia balssi Verhoeff, 1928, collected in greenhouses in Munchen and Amsterdam is discussed and transferred to the genus Afrophiloscia
