abstract:
We generate 8.5 fs pulses at 1.6 mu m from an 800-nm-pumped optical parametric amplifier working at degeneracy, employing a deformable mirror compressor. These are the shortest light pulses in this wavelength range. (C)2008 Optical Society of America
