Analisi topografica territoriale e fotografia aerea per la conoscenza e la tutela del territorio del Tavoliere (FG)

The integrated aerial photographical study for thr analysis and acquisition of knpwledge of the Tavoliere arcaeological heritage presented in this issue is based on the analysis and graphic systematic restitution of ancient settlements and infrastructure traces. The metodology used derives from the integration of survey data with the analysis of photo documentation from different periods with the objective of giving an explanation for historical archeological issues and instances of tutelage. The archeological data acquired from aerial documentation and integrated analysis of the aerial photographs have been georefernced software, restitution in vectorial format in a way which allows a constant update of archeological data. The graphic restitution of the arceological traces analyzed from the aerial photographs has providede a homogenous mosai of the traces, allowing them to be measured. This kind of analysis gives information on archeological data, not only to a scientific means but also for urban and territorial planning and consequently contribute towards the anhancement of cultural heritage
