Detection and classification of bottlenose dolphin's (Tursiops truncatus, Montagu, 1821) vocalizations in the central-northern Adriatic Sea

abstract:
The present collection includes a set of acoustic recordings of common bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) acquired in 2021 during the interaction of multiple animals with fishing gears in the north-central of the Adriatic Sea.
The collection contains:
- the raw signal wavefile with dolphin's acoustic emissions (DATA1)
- the results of dolphin's vocalization detection and classification (DATA2);
- 303 single wavefiles including each single detected whistle extracted from the raw signal wavefile (DATA3);
- 303 spctrogram images of each wavefile descripted above (DATA4).
This complete collection could be very useful to deepen the analysis of dolphin's social life, communication, and interaction with fishing activities.
