abstract:
In this work we present a method to estimate water fraction in ricefields using MODIS data. Model calibration and validation has been performed using both field information and higher resolution images (Landsat 8). Estimations in the period 2000-2014 showed a diffused reduction of water fraction, according with the diffusion of dry seeding in ricefields.
