Levy walks and scaling in quenched disordered media

This paper is a review of some basic mathematical ideas and results, concerning the relations between random walks and physical models on infinite graphs from the physicists point of view. The presentation is mainly focused on statistical models, which are particularly relevant in the physics of matter and in field theory.
