Una visione d'insieme della comunità elettrochimica Italiana

This paper reports first on history, main activities and composition of the Electrochemistry Division of the Italian Chemical Society (SCI), an essential landmark for the electrochemical community. Then, in the second part, some recent research results are summarized to prove the relevance of the activities carried out by Italian electrochemists in key scientific domains like energy, environment materials and health.
