This collection of papers aims to provide an overview on the question of the relationship between Philo's exehetical work and Greek mythology. The book collects two types of contributions. Papers of the first type have quite a broad scope and discuss Philo's interpretation of myth as a literary genre, his allegorical method and his use of the most famous Greek myths for exegetical, educational or political purposes.
