Presentazione

In regard to document delivery, NILDE (Network for Interlibrary Document Exchange) is a service for knowledge sharing and information transfer, as well as a reference community for Italian libraries mainly involved in the fields of health, science and other academic disciplines. The aim of the event was to extend the network to other types of library and other important institutions that operate locally, which are not necessarily part of a known information channel. The conference also wanted to allow librarians to discuss and explore in some depth how national libraries use NILDE as a privileged service to meet the different users' needs.
