The aim of the event was the opening of the scenario to significant local realities that are not always sufficiently promoted: public libraries, libraries specialized in "other" fields, libraries for patients, etc. With these "hidden libraries" we aim to establish solid interconnections: this would allow both to enhance and strengthen their existing resources and to facilitate users more and more in knowing their existence while making the access to their services easier. In this regard, the conference participants have been invited to a "small photographic journey", which would highlight the work of those 'hidden' libraries, which are little known, but have a great human heritage. Is has been a journey in our territory in which, we are sure, everyone was able to find a piece of one's own reality rediscovering the sense of the "mission" of being a librarian.
