Distribuzione di Lentidium mediterraneum lungo la fascia costiera adriatica compresa tra i fiumi Esino e Musone

In 2002 the spatial distribution of Lentidium mediterraneum was investigated along the Adriatic coast. The major abundances were observed till 4 meters of depth, near the river mouths and other freshwater sources. These results are in according to the ecological characteristics of the bivalve, which is known as an indicator of low salinity environments.
