The application of technology to the recognition and production of basic emotions in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

abstract:
Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder have difficulties with emotion recognition and expression, as a part of the wider deficit of the Theory of Mind. Early detection of ASD and intervention are quite important aspects. This research study focuses on the development of emotion recognition through the use of a humanoid robot.
