A trial of nematode control carried out in pots in a glòasshouse at 25 +/- 2 °C showed that cadusafos and fenamiphos are equally effective in reducing attack by and reproduction ratio of Meloidogyne incognita on cantaloupe cv. Hale's Baest without causing phytotoxicity. Less effective was aldicarb which at the highest rates of application (2,83 e 4,52 mg p.a./500 cm3 soil) suppressed seedlings growth.
