Characterization of the radiative properties of cirrus clouds with a wide-band fourier transform spectroradiometer

The synergic use of a far-infrared wide-bandwidth spectroradiometer and a LIDAR allows to perform a simultaneous radiative and microphysical characterization of thin ice clouds, a task particularly relevant for the understanding of the climate system. © OSA 2013.
