The needs of dredging in ports stem from the need to guarantee the quota of the seabed provided for in the various current Port Regulatory Plans, as well as from the deepening and/or excavation of areas during the realization of the expected and planned works. Over the years we have witnessed a regulatory evolution that outlines environmental survey campaigns to be carried out before, during and after the execution of dredging, aimed at the continuous control of the areas involved and the foreseen operations, reflecting an ever increasing attention to environmental protection .
