La regalità micenea alla luce dei testi in lineare B

In this contribution, the Linear B texts referring directly or indirectly to the king are analysed. The available data, although few and sometimes difficult to interpret, allow us to reconstruct some of the privileges and functions of Mycenaean rulers. The present contribution attempts an overall assessment of the hypotheses advanced so far and offers some general considerations on the issue of Mycenaean kingship.
