First European cases of Sorghum halepense (L.) resistant to ALS inhibitors: resistance patterns and mechanisms
Contributo in Atti di convegno
Data di Pubblicazione:
2015
Abstract:
The results clearly suggest that resistance to ALS inhibitors in S.halepense involves more than
one resistance mechanism and both mechanisms (target-site and non-target-site) can likely occur
in the same plant. This is a troublesome situation in maize because no alternative herbicides are
available to control S. halepense originated from rhizomes and pre-emergence herbicides is the
only alternative to control S. halepense from seeds.
