Airborne remote sensing for geophysical and environmental application - Roma - April 14-16, 2003 - Introduction

The Italian and European territory with its high spatial variability frequently does not highlight the whole information content of satellite multispectral images. Therefore, airborne remote sensing is a focal branch to study and monitor natural and anthropic phenomena both in the surface and atmospheric environments.
