Non-destructive evaluation on composite materials by means of Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry

abstract:
In this work, we present an application of Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry (ESPI) on composite materials subjected to a load. The ESPI technique allows the non-contact and non-destructive detection of micro-deformations, micro-cracks, residual stress and delamination.
